Arewa Foundation has a profound history rooted in a vision of change and a commitment to the Arewa region of Nigeria. Established in 2012, our journey began with a resolute aim to address, tackle, and ultimately eliminate community deficiencies that have persisted for too long.
Poor: This program addresses poverty alleviation through various initiatives such as vocational training, microfinance loans, and community development projects with the aim of breaking the cycle of poverty and create pathways to economic self-sufficiency.
Orphans: The Orphans program provides support and care for orphaned children, including shelter, education, healthcare, and emotional well-being. Through partnerships with orphanages and foster care programs, the Orphans program ensures that vulnerable children receive the love, protection, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Women: The Women program focuses on gender equality and women’s empowerment by promoting education, leadership training, and economic empowerment initiatives. By empowering women with knowledge, skills, and resources, the Women program aims to create more equitable societies where women can fully participate in decision-making processes and achieve their full potential.
Empowerment: The Empowerment program encompasses a range of initiatives aimed at empowering individuals and communities to take control of their lives and futures. Routine: The Routine program emphasizes the importance of establishing healthy routines and habits for overall well-being. This may include promoting regular exercise, nutritious eating habits, mental health awareness, and stress management techniques. By encouraging individuals to prioritize self-care and adopt positive lifestyle habits, the Routine program aims to improve physical and mental health outcomes for participants.
